Either way, it’s gone

A very short film. Made Fall 2012 for a film course at the University of Waterloo.

Script written by me.

As part of the course we had to make a short sequence, followed by a longer short film. We decided to have our sequence stand alone, rather than filming a segment from our final film. This was the result.

I’m mostly happy with it, but there’s a few issues I have. The music is mixed a bit too high, and gives it a sort of film-trailer-ish energy. There was one bit where we didn’t have a good take that included one line, so it was dropped. We also rerecord a bit of dialog from the end due to a poor take, and the line was sort of flubbed away from what I had written in the script in a way I don’t really like.
