So I took a film course last term. It was great. Unlike the previous film course I took, this time everyone in the class seemed really into the course and making sweet short films instead of just getting through the course. I figure that comes from being a higher level course. And all the films were all really distinct too; a bunch of very different styles. Check them out.
New thing of writing: Call Betsy
Well, one more sparse bit of writing added to the sparse collection of stories on this sparse site. It’s quite short and probably the most misanthropic thing I have ever written. Rather over the top, even.
It’s called Call Betsy, and you may read it here. I don’t know why Betsy.
Update?
Quick thing. I updated the sub-pages of this site. All the things I’ve made (games, etc) now have their own individual page, and most of those things have a little bit written about them (bits about making them or my thoughts or whatever).
Ludum Dare 22
Because I love you, a game about murder
So, this past weekend I ran the Game Development Club‘s Paper Jam. The theme was Murder, with the sub-theme Love. You can find the game I made here, or on the games page.
Hey look, now there’s some stories
I’ve finally gotten around to getting some of my writing up on the site, which you can find over on the writing page. There’s a new short story I just added, and a not quite so new short story and poem I put up sometime last week.
A new game, and it’s untitled
The University of Waterloo Game Development Club held a 48 hour game jam this past weekend. I didn’t exactly finish a game, per se, but I did make a nice little combat demo. You can play it here, or on the games page.
